If there isn't anyone who disagrees, I am assuming that the person who either controls or moderates this group could remove the file. Is there anyone who disagrees with my suggestion? Well, it is Actingman's and Bryan's group, but we have gone rather off topic on occasion, and Man From UNCLE has been discussed many a time on this list, as well as The Prisoner, Alias, James Bond, and many other related shows/movies. I recall we gave Mike Walston coverage of his Search scanner replicas, as well as his UFO-SHADO pins. We also have postings on The Outer Limits, which has nothing to do with Search except as it relates to the prior work of Leslie Stevens and Bob Justman. Actually I'm rather amazed that the prophet posted another ad to the list after receiving a rather heavy vote of no confidence recently. Does the prophet have an eBay ID that we can check for positives and negatives? Also, we'd like to know all the names the prophet has used on eBay in the last five years or so, not just the ID that is being used currently. 2765 From: Lady Talara Date: Fri Jun 11, 2004 1:43am Subject: DN 815....'Prophet' and Fans ladytalara man from uncle - lapel pins $15.00 each, id card & case included I took a look. {didn't matter why added it} I'd love to have one and the price is very good. But if only this was coming from anyone but him.... To be fair, Back when I first heard about him. I thought. 'hey maybe they were all being a little to rough on this guy.' I really didn't at that time feel anything one way or the other about him. But as time passed and I started to see more and more about him coming from all over the different fandoms. {And lordy am I involved in a WHOLE lot of other fandoms.} And then when you count in my personal experience with that Gale person. Plus as I understand it. Norman Felton?? one of UNCLE's creators was very unhappy with him. Well. I will be honest. For sometime I just didn't know what to think. I for one, have nothing against fans making stuff. As long as they make it clear it is fan made. And they aren't selling them to just make money off other fans. Who often don't look before they leap. And the prises should be fair. And of course there is the thing. 'is this a series or movie something that even the creators still care about'. In that case. the fans are the only ones who do still gave a damn. Prophet, Sir. I wish I could still feel I could give you and benefit of the doubt, and for a very long time I did. But your long and varied history is just to well known and out there to ignore. Mike. I was written to just after I posted my announcement from another member on this group {whom I will not name for privacy reasons and respect.} He told me his and a friends experience with PL. It was the usual complaint. I was thanks by him for stepping fwd. And if he want me to.. He can send me a note telling me if I can send his email to you. Mike, you are our man in the business here. Your 25 ?? yrs. working in the entrainment world gives you the edge. If I have upset you Prophet, please understand. I only want and wish to protect other fans from harm of any kind. The big guys can take care of themselves. They always have..:} Hope most of this made some kind of sense. The Lady Elf. Norman Felton has no actual connection with Search, but I find that he did work with the "Mr. Novak" series of the early 1960's. Burgess Meredith was one of the regulars, playing school principal Woodridge. Felton also directed Meredith in at least one Robert Montgomery Presents episode during the 1950's. Felton also worked as producer with writer Gene Roddenberry and Search director Marc Daniels in "The Lieutenant" series of 1963, which also featured a pre-UNCLE Robert Vaughn. Speaking of collectibles... I have some real eggs that were used on the show "Mork And Mindy"... They make great centerpieces for fans of the old show "Mork And Mindy", whose main character came to earth in an oversized egg spaceship. They are still in their original shells, uncracked, and value packaged in a carton of 12. For added value, you may want to cook the egg, either in a frying pan, or boiled in a pan of hot water. Free instructions on how to do this are included in every "Mork & Mindy" egg kit. Price:$15.99, plus shipping and handling Send to: I Want Dem Eggz P.O. I just hate to break the news to him that he has the wrong person. I have no connection with Mr. Berke and I never sent the Prophet any money. Earlier on this list, I gave the Prophet a chance to redeem himself if he would provide an eBay identity so we could judge for ourselves. So far nothing on that. I do have one question for the Prophet. He claims to be "the personal owner of the Man From UNCLE trademark." If this is true, then there must be some kind of paperwork which backs up this claim. I would be interested in seeing a scan of such paperwork, but I doubt I ever will. -------------(Email received from the Prophet)------------- Apparently your former email address franklinberke@... is no longer valid? I have sent several dozen to your former email address informing you I had either LOST or MISPLACED the NOTE you mailed w/ your $20.00 CHECK and as soon as you emailed me back w/ details about WHAT you ordered I would MAIL IT to you ASAP! Since I have discovered you have a NEW EMAIL ADDRESS let me know WHAT you wanted from me, if not I will simply refund you your $20.00 ! Prophet K.M.
