Search Theme in MP3

These recordings were made from a copy of the episode "Let Us Prey" that we believe was the NBC 16mm backup copy that includes all commercials and the scenes from next week's show. The opening theme picks up with the stinger right after the teaser (scenes from the episode about to run), the station break is that music that played half way into the program, after the network commercials played, following Act 2. This alerted stations to run their local spots and do a station ID. Return to Show signaled the end of the local break and the beginning of Act 3. The closing theme here is without any kind of voice over ("Johnny's guests tonight are...") and this maybe the first time you have heard this closing theme without a voice-over.

This is the full opening titles theme from the pilot Probe. List member Bruce took the soundtrack from the VHS release and enhanced it with surround sound effects.

And Armando (more from him below) took the Probe pilot from the VHS release and gave it his own processing.

Probe/Search Midis

Armando Lozano took the Probe theme from the Pilot (above) and turned it into a midi file of the complete opening credits. He also created a shorter version of it. I took those two midis and played them through a Casio WK-1200 and recorded the output in MP3 format. All four files are below.

Armando sent us the midi files played through his Technics Organ SX-GA3, which he used to create the midi files. He made some changes to the shorter version so it sounds more like the opening to the series, so it will be different from the short midi above. Both are in MP3 format.
